Points of Pride

 

1. State Literary Winners

Martha Ellen Stilwell School of the Arts Literary Team traveled to Warner Robins, GA to compete at State Literary. The competition was held at  Warner Robins High School and the team returned with three state champions and earned third place in the state.

2. Dance State Champions

Stilwell Varsity Dance Team from Martha Ellen Stilwell School of the Arts for winning the 2024 Georgia High School Association (GHSA) State Dance Championship. The team competed at the Macon Coliseum on Saturday, February 10, winning the overall A-AA Division title for the third year in a row. The team also took top honors in the Pom and Jazz categories. 

3.  Industry Connections

Martha Ellen Stilwell is proud to have various industry connections.  These connections have offered our students numerous opportunities to learn from successful top professionals in various areas of art.  Stilwell Artist are able to participate in industry chats and honest conversation about careers they are considering.

4.   All County and Various Art Competition Results

Martha Ellen Stilwell is proud to be the home of one of the most successful and competitive art programs south of Atlanta.  Our art students have been very successful champions in any art competitions they compete. 

5. GaDOE Creative School Arts Integration School of Excellence Award

Martha Ellen Stilwell meets the Creative School, Arts Integration School of Excellence Award requirements.  We are the only school in Georgia to receive this award.   

Arts integration allows students to synthesize content and create new meanings, ideas, and solutions as well as increase engagement and learning in and out of the classroom.
