Stilwell School of the Arts continues to model excellence in academics through the arts. We are ranked amongst the top high schools in the State of Georgia for the second consecutive year by U.S. News & World Report.

Commissioner Felicia Franklin-Warner

On October 2, 2018, a donation was presented by Commissioner Felicia Franklin-Warner to the Stilwell Jazz Combo and the Singing Brothers of Stilwell at the Clayton County Commissioner's meeting.  We truly appreciate the support from our community stakeholders!





Nike Scholarship

Stilwell freshman student Trinity received $1000.00 in Nike Stock, Nike Cards and Nike Apparel for winning the Dare to dream Big in Nike Essay Contest. Way to go Trinity!!



Orchestra Student


Stilwell Orchestra student Camille has been selected as the only high school string player with the Orchestra Noir an African American Professional Orchestra. Congrats Camille!!




) 2018 All-National Honor Ensembles
Please congratulate Cardell Smart, Kalissa Hernandez and LinDell McFadden. These Stilwell choral students
will join the “best of the best” for the National Association for Music Education’s (NAfME) 2018 All-National Honor Ensembles November 25-28, 2018, at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL.  In preparation for this event,  they will be rehearsing a challenging repertoire and perform under the baton of the most prominent conductors in the United States.

Congratulations to Christian Ramsey, clarinetist,  who auditioned for the Metropolitan Atlanta Youth and made the group.





Aaron Frazier and Peyton Holston

We are delighted to inform you that our students, Peyton Holston and Aaron Frazier, got selected to present their science research project at the 2018 Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) High School Biomedical Engineering Expo on Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 9:30am – 6:30pm .  Biomedical engineers from across the country and from around the world will be in attendance.

Atlanta Ballet Center for Dance Education Scholarship Recipients

Stilwell School of the Arts and the Atlanta Ballet Center For Dance Education are Partners in Education.  Last week Mrs.  Sales (outreach director) came to watch Mr. Paschall's class and offered 8 students scholarships to their adult open classes.  Each scholarship is worth $1,200 totaling $9,600 and is good for an entire year.  Congratulations to Iria Rowe, Kennedi Lindsei, Nia Parks, Kendal Brown, Niah Lewis, Zoe Ruffin, Khalia Johnson, and Jayda Carey.

Rodney Clark Jr.

Congratulations to Rodney Clark, Jr., percussionist.  He will be representing Stilwell and CCPS for he auditioned and was selected to the Metro Atlanta Youth Orchestra.

Let’s congratulate Caleb for being selected to participate in the Berklee School of Music Piano Seminar in Boston, MA. While representing Stilwell and CCPS, he will perform a piano selection as a part of the culminating concert.  




Dr. Kay Pace
CCPS Board voted to name the new Fine Arts Elementary School after our very own Dr. Kay Pace.  We are very fortunate to have her on our staff and proud of the contributions she has brought and will continue to bring to 
Clayton  County Public Schools.
