Artist are not allowed on campus prior to 7:50 a.m. and must be picked up by 3:45 p.m. daily. No checkouts will be granted after 2:45 p.m.

Schnaydah Sauveur passed the Advanced Low level of proficiency in Haitian Creole and has earned her Seal of Biliteracy.  She will Senior Seal Ceremony hosted on May 8th at the Truett Cathy Professional Building.  Congratulations!

Congratutations to Beyuti Burrows who competed as a court artist with Jonesboro High School's mock trial team and won the award as the region's best artist. She'll compete at the state level on March 18th.  

GHP Semi-Finalist
Congratulations to Stilwell's GHP 2023 State Semi-Finalists (Beyuti Burrows, Zamauria Gresham, Jada Hawkins, Cydnee Lockridge, Alyssa Mann, Caleigh Murillo, Edric Nduwimana, Patrick Pool, Eileen Resendiz-Arrenondo, and Ange Sanchez)! The Governor’s Office has selected these students to advance to the GHP 2023 state-level interviews. The next phase of the process is to begin preparing students for a successful interview process.

Dance State Champions
Stilwell competed at the Macon Coliseum and received the highest scores of the A-AA Division and also won the title of Pom Champion and Jazz Champion, with the Jazz Dance receiving a winning score of 95.8, taking the Overall Title of A-AA Overall State Dance Champion!  We are so proud of these dancers - both artists and athletes! When you see them, please congratulate them. 

Science Fair Winners
Congratulation to Barbara Simmons and Jacob Riad for earning second place at the Clayton County Science and Engineering Fair held on Saturday. These outstanding students will now proceed to the Georgia Science and Engineering Fair (GSEF) state fair held in Athens, GA.

Please congratulate Camille and Courtney Johnson on their Social Studies Fair Wins. They received three of the top awards.

1. Best In Fair Project
2. Most Appealing Project
3. Best Use of Technology Project
Their Social Studies project was titled “Wade In The Forbidden Water…How Wade-Ins Helped To Integrate Beaches Across The Country”. They will now get to compete in the state-level competition.
The Social Studies Department is proud of this recognition.

Barbara Simmons won a $1000 grant from Science ATL to support her work at ME Stilwell
Barbara made a moving pitch for her garden and classroom work to several stakeholders, including leaders from Delta Community Credit Union and Cox Enterprises, and was selected as the winner after 2 rounds and of 20 pitches.

CEISMC (Center for Education Integrating Science ,Mathematics, and Computing) magazine published by Georgia Tech highlighting some of Mrs. Sundararaj's contributions and impacts to our students' achievements and recognitions in various state and international level competitions.   see pages 8 and 9
