Advisement

In advisement, we begin with whole group, Tier I, and then move to focused individualized sessions with students. Small group advisement sessions are provided, as needed, for make ups. In such instances, the same applies. We end with an individual advisement session for the students. We do not conclude advisement without meeting with each student  individually. Parents are encouraged to participate.

In closing, advisement is an action (activity) that is a part of your school based Comprehensive School Counseling Program and addresses a data driven need, to improve student outcomes.
