2020 Gerogia Thescon Conference

On February 6-8th our Stilwell students, Troupe 8068, had the greatest opportunity to be a part of the best three days of high school theatre in Georgia. The Georgia Thespian Conference features dozens of productions presented by high schools from throughout the state. They were able to participate in a variety of workshops led by theater professionals from around the country.

Stilwell is pleased to announce that our show, Amadeus, placed as the runner up. In addition, Ketsia Alberto won the title of Best Actress. Marsalis Causey and Nubia Causey were also awarded the All Star cast members judge’s awards during the the 2019 Georgia High School Association’s AA State One Act Play Competition.

Our superintendent, Dr. Beasley attended our One Act Play "Amadeus" October 18, 2019.  He was ecstatic about the show and tweeted a few photos including the two posted below. 
On Saturday, 10/26, we took Amadeus to compete in Georgia High School Association’s One Act Competition. I am proud to announce that we placed first and will be advancing to the State level. We will go against other AA schools who won in their region. Not only did we win, but 7 out of 11 of the cast took home individual awards.
