The department of Theatre at Martha Ellen Stilwell School of the Arts offers two exciting pathways to chose from: Acting and Technical Theatre.  We provide classes for Performance. Technical Skills, Film Production, Costuming, Lighting Design, and so much more.  Each year we also compete in various competitions such as GHSA One Act Play Competition, Georgia High School Musical Theatre Awards, and the Georgia Thespian Conference.  The Stilwell Theatre Department seeks to provide a home to creativity and to nurture talent. 

 

Program Values:

To Prepare students to audition or interview for a career in the arts.

To give students a well-rounded view of theatre.

To introduce students to the crafts of the profession.

To understand the importance of clean technical work. 

To differentiate ourselves from the competition.
