Mission Statement. The objective of the Martha Ellen Stilwell School of the Arts chapter of the National Honor Society is to recognize and foster enthusiasm for scholarship, to promote the development of strong character, to encourage positive leadership, and to cultivate responsible citizenship through service to school and community. Vision SSOA’s NHS: an organization that promotes high standards both academically and socially through examples of hard work, community and perseverance.
